Where: The Chandler Bike Path (between Keystone & Brighton)

What Time : 5:30 pm – 8:00 p.m.

It should be fun for the whole family come on out and meet your neighbors.

I don’t know if your aware of this but on Thursday evnings in July and August there is live music in Downtown Burbank. The bands are in the Walkway at San Fernando Boulevard and Palm Avenue, there is room to dance its fun for the whole family come on down and check it out. ‎Hollywood Hotshots will be performing with Stompy Jones tonight.

Celebrate Burbank’s Centennial

Download A Park passport or pick one up at Magnolia Park merchants if you get it stamped by 15 participating merchants, you’ll be eligible to win some prizes!

Be-Boppin’ in the Park

If your looking for something to do this weekend, check out Be-Boppin’ in the Park. It starts at 3 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m. tomorrow Saturday the 21st, On Magnolia boulevard between Hollywood Way and California street it’s free, this is always a fun event with live music and some of the nicest classic cars I’v ever seen. So come look around at the cars and all the little shops that Magnolia has to offer and dance to Be-Boppin bands.

Larry L. Maxam Park

If you’ve been by the corner of Screenland and Pacific Ave. lately ,I’m sure you have noticed some construction going on. The park’s name is being changed to honor Larry L. Maxam, one of Burbank’s most decorated soldiers.

This Marine had a lot of awards and honors including one of the most venerable, the Medal of Honor. T he park Dedication Ceremony will be Saturday, April 17 at 11.am there will be guest speakers and entertainment.

Plant-a-Tree Ceremony

The Burbank Civic Pride Committee invites citizens, organizations, and businesses to participate in Burbank’s 55th anniversary of “Plant-A-Tree Month.” Your generous contributions will go toward raising funds to purchase new trees to be planted this year at Stough Park.
Donor certificates will be awarded at the Plant-A-Tree ceremony which will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Stough Park, 1335 Lockheed View Drive.
Donations will be accepted through the end of March. However, donations must be submitted by March 18 to be listed in the program. For further information, call the City’s Public Information Office at (818) 238-5840.
